  Darko Tibljaš

Member of WG1, long-term experience in the methods of analysis and research of different mineralogical, chemical and geological materials with particular emphasize on X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

  Davor Pavelić

Full professor tenure, Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering, University of Zagreb

Member of WG2, field work, regional-scale geodynamic reconstruction. He has long-term experience in the area of sedimentary petrology and regional geology.

  Bruno Tomljenović

Primarily member of WG3 and adviser on large scale tectonic reconstruction for whole project, also responsible for structural geology part of field research.

  Blanka Cvetko Tešović

Member of WG3, analysis of the Cretaceous carbonate facies, lithostratigraphy, biostratigraphy, paleoecology, and biota (benthic and planktonic foraminifera, calcareous algae, etc.) of carbonate platforms of Tethys. Analysis of stable isotopes.

  Marijan Kovačić

Associate professor, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb

Member of WG2, heavy mineral association analyses, microscopy, field work, experience in characterization of modern and ancient sedimentary, particularly clastic environments.

  Borna Lužar-Oberiter

Research associate, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb

Member of WG2, will be involved in field work, sample preparation and laboratory analyses. He has years of experience in clastic sedimentology and provenance analysis including petrography and heavy mineral analysis, as well as state-of-the-art analytical methods such as XRF, electron microprobe, fission track thermochronology.

  Maja Martinuš

Member of WG3, carbonate sedimentology and diagenesis, processes and causes which lead to the change of depositional environments and finally to the development of discontinuity surfaces in carbonate successions, recognition and interpretation of different types of discontinuity surfaces and their importance in carbonate platform evolution.
