ABSTRACTS

Authors are invited to submit abstracts under the four topics: Transitions, Transformations, Mobilities and Resistance but are not limited to these themes. Feel free to send us your abstract for consideration if it is broadly consistent with the research on the RURAL. 

Abstracts will be sent for review and participants will be informed by 9 March 2020 whether an abstract has been accepted. Inclusion of an abstract in the Colloquium Book of Abstract is dependent on receipt of the Registration Fee by June 1st.

Abstracts of no more than 400 words in length should be submitted by January 20, 2020 (February 10, 2020; Extended deadline) using the following format:

Language: English or French

Font: Times New Roman 12pt

Spacing: single spacing

Alignment: all text should be left aligned

Title of paper: Uppercase

Title and name of author/s (no more than 3 co-authors may be listed): in bold; title, first name followed by surname in capitals; followed by the institutional address in plain text; and email address in italics

Abstracts must include information about the following aspects of the research:

Introduction (clearly stating the problem/objective of the paper),

Theoretical insights

Methodology

Findings/results

Discussion/conclusion

SUBMISSION

Abstract submission requires two steps.

1. Please preregister author(s) wishing to participate at the conference in person by filling in the online form. (Please note that preregistration is not the confirmation of abstract acceptance and/or conference participation).  PREREGISTER HERE.

2. After filling in the online form please send us the abstract as an e-mail attachment (in docx, rtf or odt format) to: igurural2020@geog.pmf.hr
