Based on the profiles of scientists in the Scopus database, scientists from Stanford University have published updated lists of the 2% most cited scientists in the world. The lists are based on data downloaded on August 1, 2024.
There are two lists - the first refers to the entire career and the second, annual, for the year 2023.
The new lists now traditionally include prof. Dražen Adamović and academician prof. Andrej Dujella.
Prof. Adamović is on the list for 2023, and prof. Dujella on the list for his entire career.

From Croatian mathematicians, Tomislav Došlić, Andrej Dujella, Josip Pečarić and Damir Vukičević are on the list for their entire careers, and for 2023 Dražen Adamović, Tomislav Došlić, Josip Pečarić and Damir Vukičević are on the list. From the Croatian mathematical diaspora, the lists include Mladen Bestvina, Predrag Cvitanović, Ivan Gutman, Igor Mezić, and the late Branko Grünbaum and Andro Mikelić.
