Definitions of the environment, introductory and basic issues of environmental law, and environmental philosophy. The concept of environmental law and its role in the legal system. Sources of environmental law in the legal order of the Republic of Croatia. Environmental protection policy and strategy. Protection of some special parts in the Croatian legal system. Implementation and supervision of environmental protection. Concept and definition of sustainable development. Permanently sustainable development and ecological modernization. International legal aspects of environmental protection and preservation. Development of international environmental law. The most important international agreements on environmental protection. Environmental law in the European Community. The environment from a tax point of view. Environmental protection implementation and monitoring instruments.
