Description:
Learning outcomes:

Understanding and critically decide of the soil geochemistry importance in the environmental protection concept.
Gaining knowledge about terrestrial ecosystem principles of sustainability and the maintenance of their stability as well.
Understanding the effect of the physical, chemical and biological processes, as well as their interactions on the element circling in the terrestrial ecosystem.
Gaining active knowledge about element characterization and their availability to plants.
Gaining active knowledge in the field of spatial analysis, geostatistics and mapping.
Ability to define and apply the most important processes in the specific element circling.
Students will gain competency in independent execution of laboratory analyses of samples taken from the environment.
Students will gain competency in independent interpretation of data obtained from the laboratory analyses of samples taken from the environment.
