Low temperature plasmas are the area of research in plasma physics declared by American national research council (NRC) as particularly important and propulsive (2010. http://www.nap.edu/read/11960/chapter/1). Low-temperature, cold plasmas are non-equilibrium plasmas still complicated for theory and diagnostics, reach of challenges. They are applicable in various areas, and as such are basic for interdisciplinary research. This course will be of interest not only to physicists but also to medical doctors, dentistry, chemists, textile engineers, biotechnologists, mechanical engineers etc. The course will include basic ways of plasma production and diagnostics and examples given will be suited to specific student. The aim is to bring to the student state of the art in the field in interaction of plasma from human tissue to iron or modern materials such as graphen. Now temperature plasmas at low pressure and atmospheric pressure in are subject of research at Institute of physics and students will be able to visit our laboratories and perform research in our laboratories.
