5 Listening skills in teaching profession (1+1)
6 Assertiveness; (definition, specific techniques for assertive behaviour, the causes of (non)-assertiveness, assertive vs.
aggressive behaviour, I and You Messages) (2+2)
7 Praise and Criticism in education (1+1)
8 Conflict Communications; (the causes of conflict, overcoming conflicts) (2+2)
9 How to cope with difficult students / parents (1+1)
10 Stress and communication - Communication Fears (overcoming communication fears) (2+2)

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Students will be able to demonstrate effective communication skills, such as talking, active listening, constructive discussion, performing oral presentations, through teaching practice and lines of communication with students, parents, colleagues and other professionals.
Students will be able to use the above mentioned knowledge and skills to achieve their personal development aims
