Development of international graduate university biomedical mathematics study programme at Faculty of Science – BioMedMath is project financed by European Social Fund through Operational Programme Efficient Human Resources 2014. - 2020.

The amount of allocated funds is 1.620.215,18 HRK (216.028,77 EUR) and project implementation period was October 12, 2018 - January 12, 2021.

Project results:

1) Graduate university study programme Biomedical matematics (in English language) that will be conducted at Department of Mathematics (Faculty of Science) was created and submitted for accreditation,

2) Teaching personnel upgraded their skills in developing and conducting courses in English language by attending various educational workshops,

3) Visibility of the new study programme and field of biomedical mathematics was ensured by promotional and educational activities.

Curriculum for the new study programme was developed by teachers from Department of Mathematics (Faculty of Science), Department of Biology (Faculty of Science), School of Medicine (University of Zagreb) and researchers from Ruđer Bošković Institute.

Project partner was Young Gifted Mathematicians "Marin Getaldić" Association.

Proposed study programme is being evaluated and will be implemented as soon as evaluation is complete.
